Plot - Two women develop a deep platonic relationship when they exchange letters regarding a man they both knew from their high school years.
Two years after the death of his fiancé Itsuki, Hiroko remembers him on his memorial ceremony and goes through his old high school year book. Grief-stricken, she writes a letter addresses to Itsuki. To her surprise, she receives a reply, not from her dead fiancé but from a woman also named Itsuki, who went to the same high school. They exchange letters and reminisce about deceased Itsuki.
