Plot - A Japanese animated romantic drama film, 5 Centimeters Per Second is a movie is shown in 3 different segments about a young fellow named Takaki through his life as brutal winters, cold technology, lastly, grown-up commitments and obligation merge to test the fragile petals of love.
Takaki Toono and Akari Shinohara, two dear companions and colleagues, are separated when Akari’s family is transferred to another area of Japan because of her family’s job. In spite of partition, they continue on keeping in touch through mail. At the point when Takaki discovers that his family is likewise moving, he chooses to meet with Akari one final time. As years cruise by, they proceed down their own ways, their separation gradually becoming more extensive and their contact with each other blurs. However, they continue recalling that each other and the times they have shared together, thinking about whether they will have the opportunity to meet once again.
