Plot - An insubordinate young lady is sent to a Southern shoreline town for the late spring to remain with her dad. Through their common love of music, the repelled pair figures out how to reconnect.
Ronnie’s (Miley Cyrus) and her sibling, Jonah’s, guardians are separated. They live with their mom until this mid year when they are sent to live with their dad (Greg Kinnear) in a residential community on the shoreline. Ronnie disdains her dad and has no aim of being agreeable or notwithstanding conversing with him for the late spring. However, in the wake of meeting a nice looking person and starting to experience passionate feelings for, Ronnie begins rediscovering her adoration for music, something she shares with her dad. Reconnecting with music restores a connection with her dad which ends up being the most critical relationship she may ever experience.
