"Sing Street Movie" Story

The Movie takes us back to 1980s Dublin seen through the eyes of a 14-year-old kid named Conor who is searching for a break from a home strained by his folks’ relationship and money inconveniences, while attempting to adjust in accordance with his new internal city school where the children are harsh and the instructors are rougher. He finds a promise of something better in the mysterious, über-cool and delightful Raphina, and with the point of winning her heart he welcomes her to star in his band’s music recordings. There’s just a single issue: he’s not part of a band…yet. She concurs, and now Conor must convey what he’s guaranteed – calling himself "Cosmo" and drenching himself in the vibrant rock music trends of the decade, he forms a band with a couple of chaps, and the gathering pours their heart into composing verses and shooting recordings. Propelled by writer/director John Carney’s life and love for music, Sing Street demonstrates to us a world where music has the ability to take us from the turmoil of regular day to day life and change us into something more noteworthy.
