Plot - Starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, By the Sea is a romantic drama that revolves around a couple in the 1970s, who try to repair their troubled marriage and rekindle love for each other.
Vanessa and Roland is a married couple who drive into a coastal hotel somewhere in France. Their marriage is distraught as grieving Vanessa barely speaks with Roland. The couple strikes a friendship with a young couple staying in the room next to them. The experiences the couple had in the hotel help them improve their relationship.
