Plot - This Chinese film directed by Ang Lee is about a young woman gets plays a dangerous love game with a powerful political figure during the World War 2.
A shy student Wong Chia Chi travels to Hong Kong from Shanghai to attend Lingnan University. She befriends a male student Kuang Yu Min who introduces her to his patriotic drama club. Kuang includes Wong Chai Chi in his plan to assassinate Mr. Yee, a notorious special agent. Chia Chi, on Kuang’s persuasion, seduces Mr. Yee and becomes his mistress.
