Plot - Eilis Lacey went Brooklyn to find employment and there she falls in love with a local. When she returns to Enniscorthy, County Wexford, a small town in southeast Ireland she starts dates with eligible and well-off bachelor, Jim Farrell. Later on she must choose between the two countries and the lives that exist within.
Eilis Lacey a young lady who lives with her mother and her sister, Rose is from Enniscorthy, County Wexford, a small town in southeast Ireland, where she is unable to find employment for her moved to the Brooklyn for her better future. In Brooklyn she falls in love with the local. After hearing news of her sister death she come back to her home. In Ireland she starts dating an eligible and well-off bachelor, Jim Farrell and feels that now their is a future in Ireland. Now she has to decide between the two country and the lives that exist there.
