Plot - Beautiful Thing is a story of two young teenager named Jamie and Ste in a suburb of London. They discover new feeling when they sleep in the same bed.
The story is about a pair of teenage boys growing up in a working-class neighborhood during summer on a South-East London housing estate. Jamie, son of Sandra, unpopular lad who bunks off school to avoid football and Ste a more popular athletic type who lives a few doors away from Jamie and who often beaten up by his father and older brother. One night Jamie and Sandra saw that Ste has beaten and kicked out of apartment and has no place to spend night so Jamie lets him to stay at his place and a casual closeness develop sexual feelings. While both of them were slightly aware they might be gay and Jamie and Ste decide that they are attracted to each other, neither is sure just what to do. Tony, Sandra’s boyfriend, doesn’t know that what to think about Jame’s new lifestyle.
