It’s night on a Paris Bridge. A young lady hangs over Seine River with tears in her eyes and a vicious longing to drown her sorrows. Out of the blue somebody appreciates her. He is Gabor, a a knife thrower who needs a partner for his show. The young lady, Adele, has never been fortunate and no place else to go. So she tails him. They go along the northern bank of the Mediterranean to perform and in the process win a major fortune through betting. Albeit them two proceed with a non-romantic relationship, the sex-starved young lady endeavors to lay down with nice looking folks she encounters all through the trip. At long last, Adele becomes hopelessly enamored with a newly-wed groom and both of them take off to Greece, while Gabor is stuck in Turkey. But soon she is dumped by the groom. Just at this point both Gabor and Adele understand that fortunes isn’t with them unless they get together once more. But both of them are so broke that they can’t even feed themselves, let alone getting back to Paris and reunite.
